Paul Harrington of Vangent
Paul Harrington has been a part of Vangent‘s leadership team since July of 2009 and currently acts as vice president of the company’s business development and capture.
His role requires him to practice oversight of a team working to create and sustain organic growth across existing and all new accounts.
In his 21 year career, he has held leadership roles in both the commercial and federal sector. One of such positions, which he held before joining Vangent, include acting as account manager at CGI Federal.
As the account manager of CGI’s U.S.- level strategic account, he was responsible for the overall growth, account vision and senior client relationships.
Before working with CGI, Harrington held roles of increasing responsibility with additional pharmaceutical companies, of which include Johnson & Johnson. His positions in this industry consisted primarily of handling mergers and acquisitions.
His employment in the pharmaceutical industry gave fruit to the deployment of business technology solutions used in over 50 countries. Additional companies he worked with include SRA International, Anderson Consulting, which is now Acceunture, and Ariba.
The former U.S. Army officer earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University and also holds an MBA from Columbia.
