Executive Profile: Dr. John Wade, Battelle VP & Manager of the Joint and Interagency Group

Wade_John_BattelleDr. John Wade serves as Battelle’s vice president and manager of the joint and interagency market group in the national security division.

In this position he is responsible for Battelle’s business development activities for all Defense Department-level agencies, DHS, NASA and a number of other agencies.

His prior roles include VP and manager of CBRN programs, VP and manager of the biodefense medical systems product line, VP and program developer for Battelle’s vaccine business area and relationship manager to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, coordinating Battelle’s support of military medical programs.

Wade spent 22 years active duty in the US Army Veterinary Corps, sixteen of which saw him engaged in chemical or biological defense research, management, oversight or policy.

Wade has been a Member-at-Large to the NATO human factors and medicine panel as the U.S. Delegation’s CB defense expert since 2000.

He also serves as The National Defense Industrial Association’s chairman of the chemical and biological defense division.

Executive Profile: Chris Blahm, IBM Sales Executive for GBS’ Federal Acquisition Center

CBlahm_Christopher_IBMhris Blahm serves as the sales executive for IBM’s global business services federal acquisition center where he leads operations of government wide acquisition contracts as well as capture development activities, contract vehicle management and management of strategic partnerships for IBM Global Business Services Federal.

Prior to joining IBM, the 20-year industry veteran was vice president for corporate development at National Interest Security Company (NISC acquired by IBM in March 2010) where he led the operations and delivery functions for the NISC Proposal Service Center.

He joined NISC from CACI, Inc. where, as director of the analytic and operations supportdivision, he led delivery operations of advanced analytic services to Intelligence Community and Defense Department clients.

Prior to his tenure at CACI, Chris worked with Affiliated Computer Services where he was responsible for engineering and integration programs supporting multiple IC/DoD programs.

Executive Profile: Greg Taylor, CenturyLink DoD Area VP

taylorGreg Taylor serves as Defense Department area vice president at CenturyLink and joined the firm in May 2008.

In this role, Greg and his team sell and provide CenturyLink solutions, which include voice, data, video and professional services to the DoD agencies worldwide.

Before joining CenturyLink, Greg spent more than 26 years in the telecom industry in various sales and management positions. He began his telecom career in 1982 in the Washington, D.C. office of ITT.

In 1989, he joined Sprint as the senior national account manager for the U.S. Army and in 1993 was promoted to branch manager.

Subsequently, in 1999 Greg assumed responsibility as manager, European sales based in Frankfurt, Germany. Under his leadership Sprint expanded their role as a telecommunications supplier in Europe and the Pacific Rim.

He returned to the U.S. in 2003 as the branch director responsible for all sales to the U.S. Navy, Marine, DISA and U.S. Air Force.

Greg is a graduate of the University of Maryland College Park with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Greg is a member of the Association of U.S. Army, the Navy League, and the U.S. Air Force Association and is a long standing member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association.

Executive Profile: Kelley Yeomans, Harris IT Services Controller

Yeomans_Kelley_Harris CorporationKelley Yeomans serves as controller for Harris IT Services, where she is responsible for the oversight of financial reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, financial planning, financial controls and accounting.

She also plays a key role in development of IT Services’ annual operating and strategic growth plans.

Yeomans assumed the position of controller in March 2011 and previously served as controller for the IT Services Defense Department business area, as well as in progressively-responsible finance-related positions with the government communications systems segment.

In her role, she reports to the president of Harris IT Services and the vice president and controller of the integrated network solutions segment of Harris Corp.

The 27-year Harris veteran holds a bachelor’s degree from Rollins College and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida.

Executive Profile: Timothy Reardon, Lockheed Martin President of IS&GS-National

Portrait of Timothy J. ReardonTimothy Reardon serves as president of the information systems and global solutions-national unit at Lockheed Martin, a position he elevated to in July.

Before that promotion, the 14-year company veteran served as vice president of operations for the IS&GS-national unit since January 2011.

In his current capacity, he oversees 6,500 employees with U.S. operations in the Washington region, Pennsylvania, Colorado, California, and Arizona. This also includes international operations in the U.K., Australia and the Middle East.

The IS&GS-national unit focuses on cyber services, satellite ground operations, geospatial, enterprise information technology, critical infrastructure management, situational awareness and advanced analytics.

He also has served as president for the former IS&GS-global unit and president of the enterprise integration group. In these roles he was responsible for performance and overall management of programs providing systems engineering, systems integration and information technology services to the intelligence community, Defense Department and international customers.

Before joining the company, he served as a CIA staff officer for 10 years.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in systems engineering from George Washington University.

Executive Profile: John Klebonis, AT&T Government Solutions DoD Segment VP

Klebonis_John_AT&T Govt. SolutionsJohn Klebonis serves as vice president of the Defense Department segment at AT&T Government Solutions.

The 22-year AT&T veteran has held positions of increasing responsibility in systems development, sales, marketing, product management, operations, business development and planning.

Over the past three years, Klebonis led a strategic transformation of the AT&T professional services division, developing a growth engine for AT&T Government Solutions and incorporating mobility services into the DoD segment umbrella.

Prior to joining Government Solutions, Klebonis was sales center vice president for enterprise sales – mid-Atlantic region, where his organization supported over 300 large business customers in North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Earlier postings include sales leadership roles in New York City as well as product management and marketing positions in New Jersey, where he developed integrated offers of voice and data services.

Klebonis earned his Bachelor of Science degree in information systems from Salisbury State University in Maryland.

Executive Profile: Deb Dunie, CACI EVP & CTO

Dunie_DebDeb Dunie serves as executive vice president and chief technology officer for CACI International Inc., where she is responsible for developing and advancing the company’s technology infrastructure.

Prior to joining CACI, the 20-year technology veteran worked for the Defense Department for five years, serving as director of plans and analysis within the office of the undersecretary of defense for intelligence. Dunie provided guidance and reviewed Pentagon activities and programs on how they related to U.S. national interests and defense policies.

Prior to the Pentagon, Dunie worked for Oracle Corp. where she provided e-business solutions to the national intelligence market, according to Oracle.

Dunie also helped guide strategy for Raytheon’s e-systems advanced technology program and was in charge of business development for advanced information processing at Martin Marietta.

In 2006, Dunie was awarded the Secretary of Defense Medal for Meritorious Civilian Service.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Tufts University and a master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.

Executive Profile: Neil Albert, MCR Vice Chairman of the Board

Neil-AlbertNeil F. Albert is the vice chairman of the board at MCR LLC and was previously the president and CEO of the company.

The 30-year industry vet held a number of roles during his 20 years at the company.

Before coming to MCR, Albert was director of cost estimating and analysis at Textron Defense Systems where he was responsible for cost and economic analysis and pricing for all programs.

Albert provided management consulting support to government agencies including the Department of Energy, Army Corps of Engineers, Defense Department, Federal Aviation Administration, and NASA during his career.

In addition to his leadership positions in industry, Albert is a past president of the Society of Cost Estimating and Analysis and the Project Management Institute (PMI) College of Performance Management.

He is also a member of the Executive Committee for Program Management Systems within the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) and a founder of NDIA’s Industrial Committee for Program Management.

Executive Profile: Jamie Wylly, Microsoft Senior Director of Army Programs

Jamie Wylly

Jamie Wylly is the senior director of Microsoft’s worldwide business across the U.S. Department of the Army.

He is responsible for product sales, strategy, and oversight of services and  sales into the Army and all overseas Defense Department commands.

Wylly joined Microsoft in 2004, initially as a business productivity specialist on the federal advanced solutions team where he supported the Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps with business and mission enterprise solutions.

Shortly thereafter, Wylly was promoted to manager of Microsoft’s worldwide Navy and Marine Corps business where he led Microsoft’s partnership with the maritime services in preparing for Naval Network Environment.

In 2010, he stood up a new business group to manage overseas DoD accounts.

Prior to joining Microsoft in 2004, Wylly had a career in the U.S. Navy as an F-14 Tomcat pilot flying from several aircraft carriers, including combat missions in DESERT STORM. He served most of his naval career in the U.S. Pacific Fleet and among other distinctions, was a TOPGUN student and air combat instructor.

Wylly also served as special operations exercise director and as assistant executive officer to commander, U.S. Central Command.

He holds two Masters Degrees; a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island and a Masters Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College. Wylly earned his undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from The Citadel in Charleston, SC.

Executive Profile: Whit Cobb, PAE SVP & General Counsel

Whit Cobb

Whit Cobb serves as senior vice president and general counsel of PAE.

He has been in the position since February 2012 and provides legal advice to the company’s leadership and oversees the company’s legal staff, including PAE’s international trade compliance office.

Whit is also responsible for maintaining the proper compliance environment for the organization, including through PAE’s office of ethics and business conduct.

Prior to joining PAE, Whit served as the deputy general counsel of BAE Systems, Inc., a position he held from 2004 to 2012. In this role, Whit advised the company’s senior business and functional leadership, assisted the general counsel in managing the Inc. legal department, and supported the operating group of general counsels.

Whit served as the deputy general counsel of the Defense Department from 2001 until 2004. While at the Pentagon, Whit was the chief litigator for the DoD. He also supervised the military commission process and criminal justice issues relating to the war on terrorism. His other responsibilities included overseeing the security clearance adjudication process, providing legal advice with respect to congressional inquiries, and supporting the DoD public affairs office.

Prior to his service with the DoD, Whit was a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Jenner & Block, where he focused on government contracts and telecommunications issues.

Before joining Jenner & Block in 1996, Whit was the judicial fellow at the administrative office of the United States Courts. From 1991 to 1995, he served on active duty in the U.S. Army as an attorney in the Army General Counsel’s Office, where he worked on intelligence and classified program issues.

Whit, his wife Mary, and their four children live in Maryland. He graduated summa cum laude from Duke University, which he attended on an ROTC scholarship.

Cobb, a 1990 graduate of Yale Law School, was Executive Editor of the Yale Law Journal.
