
Stacy Mendler of Alion Science and Technology
As Alion Science and Technology‘s chief operation officer, Stacy Mendler is responsible for maintaining satisfaction with current business as well as growing new business opportunities. She initiates and manages special projects for both the CEO and the company as well.
She first joined the company’s team in 1998 as chief administrative officer. She handled responsibilities for administrative infrastructure such as information technology, contracts, subcontracts, procurement, property, marketing and human resources among other tasks.
While she handled responsibility for establishing corporate policies and procedures, she also played a role in special projects, such as coordinating business development meetings, reviewing proposals and possible acquisitions and coordinating strategies for corporate projects.
Before joining Alion’s team, Mendler was a part of SAIC, holding positions of increasing responsibility. She was the company’s vice president and contracts manager for the energy and environments group in her last five years with the company.
Mendler earned her B.B.A in Marketing from James Madison University and her master’s in contracts and acquisition management from Florida Institute of Technology.
She is a member of both Alion’s ESOP Committee as well as the Board of Directors for Human Factors Applications.

Lora Drewer of CACI
Lora Drewer, a 26 year contract management veteran, is the senior vice president and corporate director of contracts and procurement for CACI International Inc.
She is a part of the professional services and IT solutions company, which is comprised of near 170 professionals.
Drewer leads and works her division employees to ensure effective daily operations by providing education, training and growth opportunities for the staff. In her position, she aims to promote the role of contracting and procurement as a strategic business partner and business manager.
Prior to her position with CACI, Drewer held a position at SAIC as the vice president and group director of contracts for the research, development, test and evaluation group. While working in the group, Drewer oversaw approximately 1,500 active contracts and remained active in both international contracting and risk management.
Before her career start, Drewer spent time at the University of Maryland where she received her Bachelor of Science in finance. She also earned a M.B.A. in contract management from the Florida Institute of Technology. Additionally, Drewer has been a member of the National Contract Management Association for some time and is also a member of the NCMA’s Executive Advisory Council.
