POC STAR AWARD

The Potomac Officers Club is well known around the beltway by its acronym: POC (pronounced “pock” and rhymes with “rock”). The Club created an award that is presented to the appropriate speakers that we call the ‘POC Star Award.’ The name was created through the conjoining of two concepts: business leadership and rock-star status. Since our founding, we have presented POC awards to a ‘who’s who’ list of over 30 nationally recognized leaders. The basis for the award is that the recipient make an indelible impression on the community and has achieved leadership amongst his or her peers.
