Ms. Juliane J. Gallina is the Agency's Chief Information Officer and the Director ofthe Information Technology Enterprise (D/ITE). Ms. Gallina brings experience from leadership positions in the public and private sectors. Prior to her current role, Ms. Gallina served as the Vice President of IBM's US Federal Key Accounts, which included the Intelligence Community, the Departments of Homeland Security, Justice, and Defense as well as Federal Health and Bureau of Fiscal Services accounts. Her business units delivered enterprise security, cloud, hybrid cloud, analytics and artificial intelligence software solutions. At IBM, Ms. Gallina led several efforts to prototype and scale-out artificial intelligence technology to global national security clients. Before joining IBM, Ms. Gallina served as a CIA Directorate of Science and Technology (DST) officer assigned to the National Reconnaissance Office, where she held management positions in Signals Intelligence Directorate, Advanced Science and Technology Directorate, Communications Directorate and Legislative Affairs. While serving at the NRO she focused on the design, development, launch and operations of space-based national reconnaissance systems and their associated ground systems. Juliane was commissioned as naval officer at the US Naval Academy, and retired as a reserve officer in 2013. She holds a Master of Science in both Space Systems and Electrical Engineering. While at the US Naval Academy, Juliane was the first woman to lead the brigade of midshipmen since its founding in 1846. As CIO and D/ITE, Ms. Gallina is responsible for all Agency IT systems and personnel, as well as its global communications network. She plays a leading role in CIA's growing partnerships with industry and ensuring that the Agency harnesses rapidly evolving digital technology to advance the mission.
Erin Hawley serves as the Vice President for IC/DoD Programs for DataRobot, where she has responsibility for the company’s market growth within the intelligence agenices as well as Artificial Intelligence programs within the Department of Defense. She is a proven leader in the enterprise software industry with over 20 years of experience in both Fortune 500 and emerging technology organizations. Most recently, she was the Director for National Security Programs at Cloudera where she was instrumental in that company’s unprecedented growth in the federal market. Prior experience also includes sales, government affairs and management roles at technology firms including; Composite Software (Cisco acquired), Blackboard, Silicon Graphics and Sun Microsystems. She is passionate about delivering artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions to solving advanced mission critical applications for government agencies worldwide. Ms. Hawley serves on several boards in an advisory capacity to help advance and promote the use of disruptive technologies within our government agencies. Ms. Hawley is a graduate of James Madison University as well as a board member for the College of Arts and Letters.
Bob Schumm is Vice President of Software and Cloud Sales for the Oracle National Security Group. Bob has more than twenty-five years’ experience helping sophisticated government clients realize value from complex IT solutions. In addition to his thirteen years at Oracle, Bob led the business development and partner business at BEA Systems, Inc. for three years. Prior to that, he spent eleven years at IBM in various technical and sales roles. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Fairfield University.
