Ms. Basia Sall is the Director of the Data, Information Management, and Enterprise Governance (DIME) Division and Chief Data Officer and Deputy AI Officer at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). She leads the agency’s enterprise strategy for artificial intelligence, data governance, and information management - driving innovation and aligning digital capabilities with mission outcomes.
Since joining the NRC in 2007, Ms. Sall has held leadership roles across the agency, most recently serving as Deputy Director for IT Service Delivery and Operations. She is a recipient of the prestigious NRC Meritorious Service Award and a graduate of the Senior Executive Service Candidate Development Program.
Ms. Sall began her federal career with the U.S. Peace Corps, serving in leadership roles both in West Africa and Washington, D.C. She holds degrees from the University of Toledo (BBA, Information Systems) and Temple University (M.Ed., Computer Science Education).
