GEN (Ret) Charles R Hamilton

General Charles R. Hamilton (Ret.) is the former Commanding General of the U.S.
Army Materiel Command, one of the Army's largest and most complex organizations.
As the Army's senior logistics commander, he led a global workforce of more than
190,000 military, civilian, and contractor personnel operating in all 50 states and more
than 150 countries, overseeing a budget exceeding $50 billion.

During his distinguished military career spanning more than four decades, General Hamilton
commanded at every level and served in key leadership positions across the Army, Joint Staff,
and Department of Defense. His responsibilities included sustaining worldwide operations
through integrated supply chains, advanced logistics networks, weapons systems support,
ammunition management, foreign military sales, and enterprise readiness initiatives. His
leadership directly supported global military operations and strategic deterrence efforts across
multiple theaters.
General Hamilton also served as Chairman of the Boards of the Defense Commissary Agency
and the Army & Air Force Exchange Service and was a member of the Army Board of Directors,
providing strategic oversight of some of the Department of Defense's largest enterprise
organizations.
Today, General Hamilton serves as Founder and President of C3R Hamilton Consulting Group
and as a board director, advisor, and strategic consultant to multiple organizations focused on
defense, technology, logistics, supply chain optimization, artificial intelligence, and operational
transformation. He currently serves on corporate boards and advises companies ranging from
emerging technology firms to established defense and government services organizations.
A recognized national security expert, General Hamilton has appeared on Fox News and BBC
providing analysis on global security challenges, geopolitical competition, and conflicts
involving Russia, Ukraine, Israel, and the Middle East. He continues to advise corporate and
government leaders on strategy, readiness, operational transformation, and organizational
performance.
General Hamilton has received numerous awards and decorations, including the Distinguished
Service Medal, Bronze Star Medal, and Combat Action Badge. He holds a Bachelor of Science
in Business Administration from Virginia State University, a Master of Science in
Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Master of Military Studies from Marine
Corps University. He is a graduate of the Secretary of Defense Corporate Fellows Program and
has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School and the Center for
Creative Leadership.
