Ms. Elizabeth “Liz” Sadler honorably served in the United States Air Force for twenty-three (23) years as a Security Forces Defender. Her assignments took her around the globe to include Arizona, Washington, South Carolina, Greenland, Sicily, and several deployed locations in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. In 2018, Ms. Sadler was assigned as the lead of the HQ/AF, Security Forces Directorate, Criminal Indexing Task Force. It was during this period; Ms. Sadler transformed herself from a Security Forces Defender into an IT specialist. She became the Law Enforcement Subject Matter Expert for the creation of the Security Forces Career Field’s new Case Management System, Air Force Justice Information System (AFJIS), Ms. Sadler spent the final two years of her active-duty military career developing, fielding, and modernizing AFJIS. Upon retirement in February 2021, she was hired as a contractor to continue her work as the AFJIS Project Manager and in July 2024 she transitioned to Air Force Civil Service as an IT Specialist and is serving as the AFJIS Program Manager.
