Lt Col Gregory W. Haverkorn is the Battlespace Awareness Division Chief at Air Force Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (AF TENCAP), ACC Det 1, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He directs the planning, development, execution, and transition of sophisticated rapid combat prototypes, enhancing warfighter access to National capabilities and fostering cross-domain integration between intelligence and command and control.

Lt Col Haverkorn commissioned from the United States Air Force Academy in 2009 and completed Undergraduate Pilot Training at Laughlin AFB, Texas in 2011. After earning his wings, Lt Col Haverkorn joined Air Force Special Operations Command at Cannon AFB, New Mexico where he deployed multiple times in support of the country’s elite special operations forces. He built upon this early joint warfare exposure in his next assignment to Creech AFB, Nevada where Lt Col Haverkorn flew close air support and armed overwatch missions for joint and partner nation ground forces. After Creech, Lt Col Haverkorn became Director of Communications and Information Systems at the 805th Combat Training Squadron (also known as the Shadow Operations Center) at Nellis AFB, Nevada. There, he spearheaded the unit's digital modernization, establishing it as the Air Force’s lead Command and Control Battlelab. Prior to his current position, Lt Col Haverkorn was selected as a Chief of Staff of the Air Force Blue Horizons Fellow at Maxwell AFB, Alabama.
