John Wagner is SAIC's Senior Vice President of Enterprise Growth for the Air Force, Space, and Intelligence Business Group, where he leads strategic growth and business development across the portfolio. His work spans large-scale opportunity development, competitive capture, customer and partner relationships, and building the teams positioned to deliver on SAIC's long-term national security mission.
Wagner brings more than 30 years of leadership across defense, intelligence, and space, including senior strategy and growth roles in the commercial space and defense industry. He also served as CSAF Chair and Associate Professor at the National Defense University and as a Strategy and Statecraft Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, giving him a perspective that spans both policy and operational execution.
He is a retired U.S. Air Force Colonel who commanded at the squadron, group, and wing levels, including as Commander of the 460th Space Wing at Buckley Air Force Base and Director of USSTRATCOM's Joint Space Operations Center. He graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a degree in Astronautical Engineering and is a distinguished graduate of both the Air Command and Staff College and the National War College.
