Justin Monaldo is a Lead Specialist Solutions Architect for Generative AI and Machine Learning at Databricks, serving as the primary technical lead for mission-driven AI use cases across the public sector. Prior to Databricks, he served nearly 20 years as a federal employee, starting at the Bureau of Economic Analysis, EPA, and SEC, followed by a decade at the CIA as a founding member of the data science cadre and later as Chief Data Scientist for AI Solutions and Deputy Director for AI and Data Analytics. He has led the deployment of enterprise AI applications, development platforms, and an IC-wide MLOps program, including launching the Intelligence Community’s first AI/ML model discovery capability.
