Mr. Zybura comes to ASA(ALT) after serving as the acting Deputy Program Executive Officer (DPEO) at PEO EIS. Prior to assuming his role as the acting DPEO he served as the PEO EIS Chief of Staff and was responsible for overseeing many of the organization's day to day operations and initiatives.
Mr. Zybura began his Army career as a Soldier. While on active duty he served as chief of staff of the Army Contracting Command (ACC) at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. He was the principal assistant to the commanding general and was responsible for planning, coordinating, directing, supervising, and training more than
200 headquarters staff members. He also coordinated support and oversight of two one-star subordinate commands and six subordinate contracting centers.
Prior to his ACC assignment, Zybura served as the commander for the 413th Contracting Support Brigade, Fort Shafter, Hawaii, where he was responsible for installation, service, and expeditionary contracting in the U.S Army Pacific area of responsibility.
Mr. Zybura's additional acquisition assignments include Director, Enterprise and Systems Integration Center, Armaments Research, Development and Engineering Center, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey; Product Manager, Large Caliber Ammunition, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey; Chief Operations Officer, 408th Contracting Support Brigade, Fort McPherson, Georgia and Camp Arifjan, Kuwait; Operations Officer and Division Chief, 411thContractingSupport Brigade, Seoul, Republic of Korea; chief, Acquisition, Logistics and Technology branch, 403rd Army Field Support Brigade, Camp Henry, Republic of Korea; contracting branch chief, Osan Air Force Base, Republic of Korea; and chief, Operations Group Acquisition Support, National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California. Mr. Zybura also served in multiple assignments as a field artillery officer prior to his accession into the Acquisition Corps.

Mr. Zybura is a graduate of the United States Military Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering. He earned a master's degree in industrial engineering from the University of Washington, a master's degree from the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, and a master's degree from the National Defense University. He is a member of the Army Acquisition Corps and is DAWIA Level Ill certified in contracting and program management, and Level II certified in acquisition logistics.
