Michael Howard is the Engineering and Digital
Transformation Division Chief at United States
Transportation Command J6, Scott AFB, Illinois.
He heads a division dedicated to digitally transforming the
Command through exploration of cutting-edge
technology, creating engineered solutions for on-premises
and cloud infrastructure, developing DevSecOps platform
capabilities, and providing a global competitive edge.
Michael, a Phoenix, AZ native, has dedicated over 25
years to the US Army’s Signal Corps, serving as both an
enlisted Soldier and Officer. He held leadership roles in
Tactical Communication, Airborne and Special Forces,
Cyberspace Operations, Mission Support, and
Engineering/Architecture. His deployments include
Operation Joint Forge (Bosnia), Operation Iraqi Freedom
(Iraq), and Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan).
