Phil Fuster is the Vice President of Government at SpyCloud, where he spearheads the company’s engagement and strategic growth across U.S. public sector markets. A dynamic leader with nearly four decades of experience in the public sector technology space, Phil brings a proven track record of building, scaling, and leading innovative organizations—particularly in cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, data science, and emerging technologies. In his role at SpyCloud, Phil is responsible for driving government-focused initiatives that protect agencies from cyber threats through identity exposure prevention, threat intelligence, and digital identity risk management. His deep understanding of federal mission needs, combined with a strong network across government and industry, positions him as a key driver of SpyCloud’s growth and impact in the public sector. Prior to joining SpyCloud, Phil served as the Chief Growth Officer and Board Member at Hitachi Vantara Federal, where he led the company’s overall revenue strategy, including sales, marketing, go-to-market planning, strategic partnerships, and channel operations. He has also held leadership roles at several notable organizations in the cybersecurity and IT space, including Vice President of Federal Markets at ProofPoint, and senior positions at Rackspace Technology, Dell Technologies, and Computer Sciences Corp. Phil is also a serial entrepreneur, having founded two companies—FedBid and International Data Products—both of which played significant roles in transforming procurement and technology delivery within the government market. His unique blend of entrepreneurial vision and enterprise leadership has made him a trusted advisor in shaping technology adoption across public agencies. He earned a Master of Business Administration with a focus on International Business and Business in the European Context from the University of Maryland, where he also received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the Robert H. Smith School of Business. Phil continues to give back to the academic and tech communities by serving on the Board of Advisors for ColorTokens, a microsegmentation cybersecurity firm, The Modern Data Company, a big data and AI data preparation firm, and as an Advisor to the MBA Program for Business Analytics at the Smith School of Business. Phil resides with his family in the great state of Maryland and remains passionate about advancing national security through innovation, collaboration, and cybersecurity excellence.
