Richard Durand

Richard Durand leads AT&T business activities serving the National Security Community, overseeing a highly
skilled team delivering strategic technology solutions and services focused on network transformation,
infrastructure modernization, wireless communications and other mission enabling technology solutions. In
this role he is responsible for business strategy, new business development and the management and
execution of programs.
Throughout his more than 30-year career with AT&T, Mr. Durand has gained valuable experience designing,
deploying and operating information technology and network centric solutions. During his tenure, he has
directly supported efforts that have involved a broad range of technical disciplines to include mobile, voice
and data networks and related application, content delivery, video distribution, data analytics, hyperscale
computing and storage technologies. He has served as both a technical individual contributor and line
manager, supporting AT&T's internal business operations, external commercial and U.S. government
customers. His last 25 years have been dedicated to supporting National Security customers, with more than a
decade spent working directly with customers on their premises.
Mr. Durand serves as an Advisory Committee member for the Intelligence and National Security Alliance
(INSA).
Mr. Durand has a B.S. in Computer Networking and an M.S. in Management. He is a certified Project
Management Professional (PMP) and served for 10 years in the United States Navy Reserve in the Information
Warfare Community as an Aviation Meteorological & Oceanographic Analyst (AG).
