Ronald Ringgold is a highly accomplished cybersecurity executive and strategic leader with extensive experience across the Federal, State, and Local government sectors, currently serving as the Public Sector Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at SentinelOne. In this role, he acts as a trusted Field CISO, providing high-level strategic consulting on cybersecurity architecture, risk management, and compliance to align security posture with mission objectives. He is a recognized expert in achieving federal cybersecurity compliance, including mandates like FISMA, FedRAMP, EO 14028, and NIST CSF, and uses this expertise to partner with sales teams, driving revenue growth through executive briefings and deep subject matter knowledge. He leverages proficiency in technologies like EDR, SIEM, CNAPP, and Identity Security to formulate customized strategies and deploy cutting-edge solutions for public sector clients.


His distinguished federal career includes serving as the Chief Cybersecurity Architect / Director and Acting CISO at the Department of Commerce (DOC), where he developed and executed the Department-wide cybersecurity strategy. A critical achievement was spearheading the enterprise-wide adoption and multi-year implementation of a Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), including directing the deployment of a comprehensive ZT stack integrating technologies such as SentinelOne, Okta, and Cloudflare. He consistently served as a lead FedRAMP and cloud security SME, acting as the Certifying or Authorizing Official for major information systems and providing final risk-based recommendations for Authorization to Operate (ATO) decisions across multiple agencies.
