Dr. Ronzelle Green

Ronzelle L. Green, Ph.D., is the Director of Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Innovation & Research. He leads the delivery of GEOINT capabilities through Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven innovation, pioneering research, and rapid adoption of transformative technologies. Previously, Dr. Green was the Director, Research & Development (R&D). He led the R&D enterprise in exploring, proving, and delivering cutting edge capabilities to users for operational impact. In 2020, Dr. Green served as the Chief Information Officer, Defense Counterintelligence & Security Agency (DCSA). He led the policy and digital transformation to support the rapid growth of an agency of 900 to 12,000 employees. Prior to DCSA, Dr. Green was the Director, Commonwealth Integration, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence & Security, Pentagon. Throughout his career, Dr. Green held senior policy, information technology, engineering, and operational roles within government, industry, and the military. As a U.S. Coast Guard Reserve Officer, he’s assigned to U.S. Cyber Command. Dr. Green earned a B.S. from Oral Roberts University, M.S. from North Carolina State University, M.S. in Strategic Intelligence from the National Defense Intelligence College, and Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University. Dr. Green is an alumni of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Seminar XXI National Security & Foreign Affairs and CAPSTONE General and Flag Office courses. Dr. Green is certified DAWIA Level III in Program Management and Information Technology and a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps. Dr. Green has been awarded the National Intelligence Award for Collaboration Leadership, DCSA Distinguished Service Award, Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (5), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Coast Guard Commendation Medal (3), Army Commendation Medal, and other service medals and awards.
