Reb Butler is the Strategic Advisor to U.S. Space Force’s Deputy Chief of Space Operations for
Cyber & Data (SF/S6), Pentagon, Washington D.C.  In this position, he assists the SF/S6 to
provide policy, guidance, oversight, standards and metrics for cyberspace forces, cybersecurity,
communications, IT, and data including both technology and personnel.  He is responsible for
developing strategic communications, strategy and resourcing options to organize, train, and
equip cyberspace forces; employ advanced technologies to digitally transform the Space Force;
assure Space Force digital infrastructure and IT needs are met; and effectively manage Space
Force data and artificial intelligence integration. Previously, Mr. Butler was Chief, Cybersecurity
Branch and Acting Mission Assurance Division Chief at U.S. Cyber Command; and served as
strategic planner for the space and cyberspace portfolios at Air Force Space Command. Mr
Butler is an Air Force veteran who served over 21 years on active duty. He earned degrees
from the National War College, the Air Force Institute of Technology, University of North
Dakota, and United States Air Force Academy.
