Thiyagu Ramasamy is Head of Public Sector at Anthropic, where he leads the company's engagement with national security, federal civilian, state and local governments, as well as GovTech partners.

Prior to joining Anthropic, Thiyagu spent six years at Amazon Web Services, where he most recently served as Principal Lead for Data, Analytics and AI/ML, guiding government customers through transformative machine learning initiatives.

Thiyagu brings over two decades of experience at the intersection of emerging technology and public sector missions. He served as a Senior Manager and Technical Architect at Accenture, and prior to that, held consulting and management roles at Grant Thornton and IBM. Throughout his career, he delivered enterprise-scale data analytics and digital modernization programs across civilian agencies, including the Department of the Interior, the Office of Personnel Management, and the Patent and Trademark Office.

At Anthropic, he is focused on deploying responsible AI that enhances government mission effectiveness while maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, and ethical governance.

Thiyagu holds a Master of Science Degree in Computer Science from George Mason University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the College of Engineering, Guindy.
