Tracy Mills is the Distinguished Chief Technologist(DCT) for HPE’s US Public Sector Federal Systems Integrators Sales organization. Prior to this role, Tracy led the US Army, Airforce, and Joint Forces accounts and Strategic Programs team where she had responsibility for all of US Public Sector Capture pursuits (DoD, Intel, Civilian, SLED, Commercial) and route to market operations with Hawaii’s largest local system integrator. Tracy joined HPE in 2019 and has spent her career within the Federal marketplace. Prior to joining HPE, Tracy was with Pacxa for 8 years within their Information Systems and Technology business sector. At Pacxa, Tracy served as the Enterprise Senior Solutions Consultant & DoD Business Development Director in support of Pacxa’s SLED, Federal, and Commercial business. In her current role, Tracy works with Federal entities to solve their IT challenges providing mission capabilities efficiently and effectively. She is able to understand Federal Systems Integrators and public sector business drivers and provide insights to the latest emerging technology solutions to support the rapid changing landscape of IT from to edge to everywhere. With over 26 years of experience, she understands the kinds of problems that Federal programs here in CONUS as well as OCONUS face when making decisions about improving collaboration, communication, and efficiency. As a Distinguished Chief Technologist at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, she works with end users, industry, leading partners, and integrators to identify solutions and opportunities to support the warfighter, civilian, SLED, federal agencies, and allied nations. Tracy studied at University of Maryland in International Relations and Communications. Tracy is on the Govly Board of Advisors and has been awarded The Top 50 Women Chief Technology officers ranked at #8 in 2025 and #11 in 2024 as well as Top 50 Women leaders in Hawaii for 2024. Tracy was named in the 60 Female CTOs to Watch in 2025 and carries over 36 technical and sales certifications pertaining to mission critical and complex solution creation and delivery from Deep Neural Networks, to generative/non-generative/agentic/classic AI, and Disconnected Multi Hybrid cloud solutions.
