Who Is Marc Andersen?

As assistant secretary for financial management and comptroller, Andersen serves as Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll’s principal adviser in all matters related to budget and finance and supports service operations and modernization by aligning resources with mission requirements. 

Andersen was nominated to the role by President Donald Trump in April 2025 and received Senate confirmation by a 51-47 vote in October. 

Before joining the Army, Andersen spent over 22 years as a senior partner emeritus at global professional services provider EY, where he established and led the company’s government and public sector practice.

He also founded Andersen Advisory, a consulting firm that guides customers on technology and national security-related investments.

Andersen’s private sector experience also includes roles as a venture partner at IronGate Capital Advisors and as chairman of the board of advisers at vTech Solutions. 

In the public sector, Andersen served as a commissioner on the White House Commission on Presidential Scholars, a trustee of the Virginia Veteran Services Foundation and an honorary commander of the U.S. Air Force’s 89th Airlift Wing.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from George Mason University.

Who Is Brandon Daniels?

Daniels is a regulatory and technology expert with extensive experience managing crises and challenges and navigating risk environments for various organizations. In 2022, he became CEO of Exiger, an AI-driven supply chain risk and compliance technology company serving government and commercial customers worldwide. 

Prior to joining Exiger in 2017, he served as president at the Clutch Group for nearly six years. He also held leadership roles throughout his over three years at CPA Global. 

Daniels won the 2026 Wash100 Award for advancing AI-powered supply chain intelligence capabilities that help federal agencies identify vulnerabilities, improve acquisition and strengthen operational resilience.

His appearance at the 2026 Army Summit could spark discussions on modernizing the Army supply chain and on how AI can accelerate the delivery of critical equipment and technologies to warfighters.
